The Cabin
Here is Marly's parents cabin. The cabin was surrounded
by the most amazing flowers. Her dad visits the cabin every
week. It took us about an hour to get there from the hotel.
They prepared a huge lunch while we were there and made
fun of us because we couldn't finish the meal. Marley's Dad
was giving us a hard time, but he wasn't able to finish either.
We sat around the front porch while Mya was sleeping and
laughed most of the time. We asked eachother about the others
country and such. We really enjoyed our time together. We
are blessed to have this family with us on our journey
I couldn't believe that Mya went to sleep without having a
crib. I thought for sure that wouldn't happen. She is the
best sleeper I have ever seen.
This is Marly's mom preparing lunch. She
would not let us help her. Before lunch, we
walked to a little store and got these amazing
pasteles. They are similar to a buritto only
smaller. They fill it with meat. SOOOOO
Good!
She thought she was cool to have a chair her
size. While they cooked, they played music
and we watched Mya dance. Marly's mom
loves to sing and dance. Everywhere she goes
she is so happy and always singing these
beautiful Spanish songs. Justin and I stay
in stiches when we are around them.
Yea, we have been working on this since we
got her. It looks like we're doing a preety good job:)
