Visa's Check

We went to Coral Gables yesterday to get our Visas. Everything went nice and smooth. It was like a different country down there. All of the signs were in Spanish. The workers at the Florida Consulate were wearing masks. The only problem is that we will have to pay a change of fair or $200 penalty for changing our plane tickets if we need to. We got them for June 6th. Hopefully we will be able to move that date up a week or so. With Avianca airlines, we do not have to pay for changes on our way home. This was the only straight flight we could find at a reasonable price. C*lombia has not given us the dates to travel yet. We needed our reservations for our Visas. I guess it is worth the $ to go ahead and have that step completed.

We are now waiting on C*lombia to finish up with the DS-230 (visa for Mya). Then hopefully we can travel within 2 weeks after that.

So what's left: vaccinations and pack for the trip

This feels so good to be sooooo close. We are so ready!

Hey Rhonda! I've been thinking of you... I pray things come together quickly... where will you be flying out on Avianca at? We will be flying in on Avianca on 6/6 to Miami from Colombia. We are going on a family mission trip to help another missionary family in Cali. I was hoping that we'd be able to meet up with another adoption fam, but unfortunately, there won't be any there at this time, but we plan on going to ICBF.

Keep us posted... you are so close to holding that princess in your arms!!!!
