Final Decree Canceled
Our attorney just informed us that we are not going to Pamplona today or tomorrow. The judge is now in a criminal case and can not see us. She said Thursday maybe. She is waiting to hear. I am so upset. They had to have known that there was a criminal case. There has to be some kind of schedule. A criminal case can go on forever. Please pray for us.

Oh no! So sorry to hear this. I wonder why there aren't different judges who handle family/adoption issues versus criminal cases? Is there only the one judge to do a final decree? Wonder why a court clerk or magistrate can't do it?
Maybe they can work you in. Can the attorney ask for a quick session with the judge maybe in chambers while the criminal case is going on? Will pray!
So sorry to hear this. It has to be frusterating to keep having to just "roll with the punches". Here's hoping you can make it home with you beautiful daughter soon.
