First Time in Pool

I just had to put a bow in her hair. This is her 1st night with us.
This morning she was terrified of the water. She wouldn't even put her toe in. After some time, we came back. She was in a sundress. There was no need to put her in a bathing suit because she didn't even want to look at the water.
At first she wanted us to hold her, then she pushed our hands away. She is so independent. She had so much fun! We are soooooo glad she is not afraid anymore. It would have been a long month without swimming. That's pretty much the fun for the day.
She loves giving us kisses. Justin said pesos was kiss. So for the past two days we say "un peso por favor." Amber informed us tonight that it is "beso." Poor kid, she doesn't stand a chance:)

She'll have such fun in the pool in the days ahead! So happy she came around to liking it. That pool sure saw the likes of my kids... Karen would dive into that little kiddie pool and I continually worried she might cut her lip or hit her nose on the sides. Somehow we escaped injury but while there witnessed several other children hurt themselves. We saw many children running amuck at times and it was easy to see why they would encounter problems and/or injury.

Hoping you have an enjoyable Day #3!
