Our Tired Little Girl

Is it 11:00am? Why yes it is. Look who is
sleepy.

Mya is doing a great job with using the potty.
She has only had 1 pee pee accident. She finally
went #2 for the first time since we have had her.
I know that is probably more info than you
wanted, but we are soooo happy for her. She still
will only eat yogurt. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't worry too much about the food. I know both of our kids all of sudden didn't like things we were told that they did and liked other things we were told they disliked. I think it's just part of the adapting to what they have been used to. Have you tried cereals or different crackers? Also bananas or plantains would be great since they can be mushy. Maybe even mash some up and put them in Mya's yogurt. I'm absolutely loving all of the pictures and updates. Things seem to be going so well for you all--you are blessed!

Just wanted to say congratulations on your beautiful gift, little Miss Mya. You may want to ask the kitchen staff to grind her food to a baby food consistancy. That worked with my boys. Also, when Sofia was initially not eating those first few days, the staff made her most kids favorites, chicken nuggets, french fries and soup. Don't worry, she will be fine. If all Mya will eat is yogurt, stock up!

Like so many other families, we also found the information ICBF reported to be incorrect in regards to food likes/dislikes and the childrens eating habits. Regarding the baby formula, the first can we bought coincided with what they had told us Luis drank. We tried it after one day and still he refused. We switched to a familiar brand (Similac)and he was fine, loved it. They told us he only ate soup and we found that this little guy loved food. His favorites were eggs and bread in the morning, he loved any type of meat, and was extra fond of slurping up spaghetti noodles. It took him a few days of adjustment in order to feel comfortable enough to want to eat solid food, plus he was teething real bad when we got him. Good luck, keep at it and she'll begin eating more balanced portions.
