Car ride home
Mya got carnsick and threw up on Justin several times on the 2 hour ride home. He handled like a champ. He is such a good daddy. She was soooo sick. Poor thing. After a bath, she is good as new!!!!
Beautiful! What a beautiful family!! Many, many congratulations to you and your sweet little girl! All the best to you! I have been following your family for a little while and am thrilled for you 3! We are at the beginning of the wait (waiting on ICBF approval) so we have about 4 years to go...you give me hope! Let me know if you want to follow our journey, email me at meg_early@hotmail.com and I will invite you to the blog. All the best, truly!
I'm so HAPPY for you guys! Hopefully, while you are there she'll get used to the car. See if they have any motion sickness meds for kids. I know we have dramamine for kids here in the states.
Seriously, Julie said when they are sick, it's the perfect time to shower your affection. :)
What wonderfull your daughter! We are waiting for the second adoption in Colombia from 2006 in we let us group 1/2 years, we know that we must still wait a long time, but we will put all… to see the faces to us of these splendid children fills up us the joy heart. Good lucky for all! Italian mother waiting for bis (sorry for my english)
Hoping you're adjusting well and you were able to get some sleep following your loaded Gotcha day excitement. I remember how I'd wake to any whimper or movement from the kids the first few nights, and exhaustion set in from time to time. I love seeing God's wonders in putting families together, and after seeing your beautiful pictures from yesterday yours certainly makes sense. Enjoy the blessing, she is certainly a gift from God! And after seeing the forecast for Cucuta in the next few days (from the AccuWeather link on your blog), Rick told me to tell you to especially be on the lookout for the THUNDERY RAIN expected on Friday. We got a good laugh out of that one.
What wonderful pictures! My favorite is the one where she is asleep in her Mami's arms. Precious, and I am sure you were relieved that she was asleep so there was no more sickness. What an absolute doll of a child you have. While the transition to parenthood may get tiring, try to enjoy all of your uninterrupted time with her. They will be some of the most important days with her that you will ever have. Keep up all of the great pics! Traci
Will Mitchell says "I love your new baby and you love her so much!" It is amazing how we can feel your love for Mya just through viewing the pictures! We can't wait to meet her! Love and prayers, Cheryl, Tom, Will, and Anna Scott
